On the 27th of August 2016 the ARS House welcomes visitors with an exciting workshop program, which starts at 4pm and ends at midnight with evening performances. Visitors have a unique chance to participate in workshops, which take place in the artists and designers studios where they are work and create every day.
The workshops will be offered by Atelier Aur (jewellery workshop), Varvara & Mar (Animate with Code workshop for families), Spell Design by Kristi Kuusk (dynamic color-changing textile), MOKOKO and Mirgoods (leather design workshop), Piret Rohusaar (painting and clay workshop suitable for all ages), and Sally Stuudio (art and art education workshops for children and parents).
At 8pm on stage are PechaKucha presentations, fast paced talks where presenters show 20 slides in 20 seconds. The PechaKucha presenters are: Siim Preiman (curator), Camille Laurelli (artist), Elo Liiv (sculptor and light artists), Varvara & Mar (artist duo), Miisu (Taavi Varm, audiovisual artist), Mihkel Güsson (industrial designer), Olga Good (BJD Dolls creator), Kristi Kuusk (designer) and Atelier Aur (jewellery design studio).
Culture Night at ARS will be wrapped up with the performance evening program. On stage are MIISUTRON, Emer Värk ja Renzo Alexander Van Steenberge, and Raul Keller. The ARS House creative studios will offer guests a chance to visit a design and art mini market in the inner yard of ARS.
